Birthday Gifting

When the school year begins so begins the birthday party invites. I have three children so that is at least 3 parties per month...give or take one. I decided to make all of the gifts this year and this is what I made for the girls.

A bow pen, ribbon note pad, and a tote bag. I used some Mod Podge to glue a piece of fabric to the outside of the notebook. Then I tied cute ribbons onto the spiral binding. This is the cheap $.10 notebook that Wal-mart sells during the school season. It has 3 holes on also, so I glued a piece of white paper to the book before the piece of fabric. Lastly I glued a chipboard letter on the front.

Just thought you'd might like to know what I've been up to. I made 50 bow pens. This was not a hard task. My pen supplier no longer carried my preferred pens, so I had to order from someone else who thought it was okay to partially substitute my order with something else (without even asking)?? So that made my order late and I had to work in overdrive to get them done, after they shipped a second order of pens out(free of charge...gotta know how to bring the house down..we are all customers). Everything turned out great and my order was shipped on the second promised date. The black and white one is my favorite. It has a little bling button in the middle.
